On 8th June, HanoiPlas2024 was successfully concluded at Hanoi International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Vietnam. The success of the exhibition has not only strengthened the influence of Eversheds in the international market, but also laid a solid foundation for future development.
In recent years, Vietnam's plastics industry has been booming, playing a vital role in supplying key materials for diverse industries such as electronics, textiles, consumer goods and automotive. With increased investment, Vietnam has become a major production centre for plastics products, meeting the needs of major international markets. Judy Wang, President of Yorkers, said, "HanoiPlas 2024 represents a crucial moment for Vietnam's plastics and rubber industry. During the exhibition, we brought two specialised products, a PET household product using UN200 (fruit trays) and a cosmetic product using a mixture of UN260E (nail pads). PET fruit tray moulds use the UN200-M7 PET machine, which brings more added value to customers by configuring the system solution. Customers can easily solve the problems that often occur in PET applications: opacity, burn marks, etc., and production efficiency is greatly improved. Energy consumption has also been reduced thanks to the latest servo drive technology. We build moulds with the UN260E hybrid machine with an injection speed of 200 mm/s and the system is equipped with the latest electric injection unit technology, controlled by upgraded control algorithms, which ensures perfect part quality and an increase in productivity of up to 20%.
